Our local beaches vary from pebbly coves with beautifully clear waters for swimming and rock pooling to award winning golden sandy beaches perfect for surfing, body boarding and sandcastles..all perfect for wonderful beach days.
We can recommend places to book experiences and equipment hire for riding, cycling, kayaking, boat rides and fishing.
There are days out to a castle, adventure park, or sculpture garden.
There really is something for everyone.

Fern Lodge was very impressive, spacious and bright. Our hosts Bridget and Richard have put a lot of thought into the fixtures and fittings to make your stay comfortable. From the quality linen bedding and memory foam mattresses to the well-equipped kitchen with quality cookware and sharp knives and eco-friendly cleaning products. The outdoor space was great too, beautifully landscaped with plenty of seating options and we could park right next to our lodge. Thoroughly impressed overall and our hosts Bridget and Richard were great!

We had a brill stay at Shearwater bungalow. Bridget has created a gorgeous little space in a stunning location. The space is bright, light and fresh. The styling is really well-considered, subtle coastal, not OTT, with natural finishes, materials and furnishing, plus lovely grounds and planting. The bed is ultra comfy… with the snuggliest duvet ever… Bridget uses eco-cleaning products, ‘who gives a crap’ toilet paper and the recycling provision is excellent. We booked the night before and couldn’t believe we found such a cool pad at such late notice. Right next to Lynmouth and near to Devon’s more consistent surf spots… We would absolutely stay again…

Fantastic location, beautiful bungalow which was very tastefully furnished and decorated, and which was full of really thoughtful touches throughout. Guidebooks, plants, Netflix, really reliable Wi-Fi, excellently equipped kitchens and lovely drawings/artwork. We had breakfast outside in the garden every day during the whole stay, we went on walks with mesmerising views and visited the North Devon Coast. Richard and Bridget were full of great recommendations of what to see, places to eat and visit and communication with them was friendly and efficient. We would wholeheartedly recommend their bungalows for a great stay in North Devon.
