Linnet

Linnet, number 6 on the site map, is a single-bedroom stone-built retreat with a beautifully designed open-plan living and dining area, featuring south-facing picture windows with lovely views.

The light and airy living area, furnished with natural materials, includes an armchair and sofa bed (mattress toppers available on request). Maps, guidebooks, and games are on the shelves. The TV is tuned into Amazon Prime and Netflix and there is superfast WiFi. The adjoining dining snug comfortably seats four, providing a perfect spot for meals, games, or simply enjoying the everchanging skies over Exmoor.

The living area opens into a well-equipped kitchen with an oven, grill, ceramic hob, fridge, microwave, cafetière, hand blender, all necessary cookware, and a selection of local teas and coffee with a window overlooking the bird-filled Devon wall and hedging.

The spacious double bedroom offers a calm sanctuary with soft French linen bedding and views of natural planting and a Devon hedge. The bathroom has a walk-in shower and natural slate flooring Towels, toilet rolls, kitchen paper, and eco-friendly cleaning products are provided.

 

Outside, the private south-facing terrace offers seating amid lovely planting, ideal for a summer breakfast or evening relaxation under Exmoor's dark starlit skies.

On-site there are two EV chargers and ample parking with easy accessibility. There is a guest utility room with two washing machines, two dryers, airers, irons, and ironing boards. The utility room also houses a well-stocked lending library with books, indoor games, puzzles, and outdoor games for field use.

 

Additionally, there's a light and airy art room with a basic stock of art materials available for guest use. During quieter months, it may be in use for art courses, so availability varies. Visit our art course page for details of our courses.
