Expressive landscape painting in soft pastel

A three-day workshop with artist Richard Suckling.

On this wonderful course we will concentrate on creating landscape paintings in soft pastel where you will be encouraged to push your interpretation of a subject to create an expressive and personal finished painting. You will be taught various painting and drawing techniques available to a pastel artist, to see how you can make an exciting and contemporary landscape painting with elements of abstraction.

Surrounded by the stunning landscape of Exmoor and north Devon there will be plenty to inspire you!

What you need to bring...

A set of soft pastels (Richard will advise what to buy if you don't already have some)

and a sketch book.

Everything else will be provided.

All materials, lunch and refreshments each day are included.
